A Shift in My Work Behind the Chair

If you’ve been following along for a while, you may have noticed that things have shifted a little for me.

I’ve had quite a few questions in my chair recently about what I specialize in these days, and honestly, I understand why. 2025 has brought a lot of growth, a lot of clarity, and a lot of realization for me behind the chair.

For a long time, parts of my work became what people knew me for most. But as I’ve continued to grow as a stylist, I’ve realized that what I truly love is a little more expansive than one specific box.

So I wanted to share it here in a way that feels clear.

1. Effortless, Lived-In Color

One of the biggest things I love creating is effortless, lived-in color.

To me, this means naturally dimensional color that feels soft, beautiful, and realistic. It’s color that can be lower maintenance, grow out more gracefully, and still feel elevated. I love creating hair that doesn’t scream for attention in a way that feels overly done, but instead looks expensive, intentional, and easy to wear.

This kind of color is perfect for the guest who wants something beautiful and customized without feeling tied to constant upkeep.

2. Brunette Color

Brunette hair has such a special place in my heart.

There is so much more to brunette color than people often realize. It can be rich, dimensional, glossy, soft, bold, subtle, or somewhere in between. Whether that looks like all-over color, pops of dimension, lived-in brightness, or effortless highlights, brunette hair deserves thoughtful placement and an understanding of texture, tone, and depth.

I love working with brunettes in a way that keeps the hair feeling interesting, healthy, and personalized rather than flat or one-note.

3. Haircuts

Haircuts have always been part of my foundation as a stylist.

I was trained very traditionally, including both Sassoon and Toni & Guy education, and that background shaped the way I see hair to this day. Structure matters to me. Movement matters to me. The way a haircut supports the overall look matters to me.

Lately, I’ve especially loved haircuts that feel more organic, airy, and lived-in. Hair that moves. Hair that feels soft. Haircuts that work with your real life and not just for the photo at the end of the appointment.

A great haircut can completely shift how your hair falls, styles, and feels at home, and that will always matter to me.

4. Hair Extensions

Hair extensions are still very much part of what I do.

I’ve specialized in sew-in hair extensions for years, and that experience has been such an important part of my career. But one of the biggest shifts for me has been realizing that I don’t want to limit the ways I can help my guests.

Instead of only being known for one thing, I want to be able to support more women and their unique needs. Some guests need extensions. Some don’t. Some need customized color. Some need a haircut that finally makes their hair make sense. Some need a combination of all of the above.

That flexibility has felt really aligned for me in this season.

What This Means for You

More than anything, this shift means I want to support my guests more fully.

It means the content I share will continue to reflect more of what I actually do behind the chair and who I help. It means more education, more tips, and more information that supports all of my guests, not just one type of service.

It also means you’ll continue seeing more of the experience I create behind the chair and what it actually looks like to work with me.

And honestly, it means bringing back more of the kind of support I used to love sharing — including more live Q&As, more helpful education, and more ways to make you feel supported at home, not just when you’re sitting in my chair.

Because that part matters to me too.

A More Aligned Way Forward

This shift isn’t about walking away from what I’ve built. It’s about becoming more honest about what I love, what I offer, and how I want to serve the women who trust me with their hair.

I still care deeply about creating beautiful hair. I still care about intention. I still care about helping women feel like themselves.

Now, I’m just doing that in a way that feels even more aligned.

If you’ve ever wondered whether I’m the right fit for your hair goals, this is your reminder that there’s room for a more personalized approach here. Whether you’re looking for effortless lived-in color, dimensional brunette work, a haircut that feels more like you, or hair extensions that make sense for your lifestyle, my goal is to help you find the best fit for you.

And I’m really excited for what’s ahead.
